Private Classes:

$50 - Half Hour

$100 - Full Hour

Group Class (up to 3 people)

$30 - Half Hour per person

$60 - Full Hour per person

How often do I pay?

You can either pay for a full term (school term) or for weekly classes.

When paying for a full term of Lessons you may cancel 1 within the cancellation policy timeframe which may be credited for next term or made up at a seperate time.

If you are paying weekly, lessons must be paid on the day of the class. If you are coming during peak hours 3:30-7:00 and frequently need to cancel, you may be asked to move to a later or earlier time to prevent frequent gaps.  We appreciate your attendance if you appreciate our flexibility.

Can parents sit in on lessons?

Definitely!  We do ask that you sit quietly is all.  If your child is more focused on you then our teacher it will impact the quality of the class.

Do I need an instrument at home?

Yes, learning an instrument like any skill takes frequent practice and will teach you the discipline it takes to get good at any skill.

Do you teach grades?

It is not our priority.  Although you will learn all the same skills you would need to pass exams, it is not something we push our students towards.  We frequently have students accepted into music programs and some even make money busking/performing independently.  These are our success stories and are much more important to us than passing exams.

What will I learn?

Each of our tutors are allowed flexibility to adjust lesson plans to your interests.  Some things you will be taught are:

- Playing along with songs

- How to read notation

- Instrument fundamental skills

- Listening skills / recognising patterns in music by ear

- Improvising

- Songwriting

- Pratical Music Theory you can use

- Playing with other instruments

- Reading and Hearing basic to complex rhythms

What is your Cancellation Policy?

If you need to cancel a lesson, please insure it is done 24 hours before your class is due to start for free cancellations.  Classes cancelled later than that are still charged.

Do you offer make up lessons?

Sometimes - it is up to each tutors discretion and often there just isn't availability to fit an extra class in a week.  It's always worth asking but you should be ready to miss a week if you need to cancel.

This only applies to lessons cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Do I need an instrument to start lessons?

No, we have plenty you can use during the classes if you just want to try it first. We are also happy to assist with recommending the right instrument for you when the time is right.

Do you teach adults?
