A BIT ABOUT SAM

I began guitar at 10, inspired by my dad always playing and singing songs at home. Midway through Year 10 my High School Gifted and Talented Music Program was still not enough music for me so I took an educational detour to TAFE completing a Diploma of Music Performance and progressing onto WAAPA as a Bachelor of Music student. I have since expanded beyond guitar, becoming competent in a number of instruments. I now spend my days surrounded in music as a teacher and performer (not just in the shower) and I continue to invest in my own musical development. I created Palmer Music at the start of 2022 drawing on my experiences as a teacher and administrator from multiple music schools. Our lesson style is slick and relaxed, helping students explore their own musical interests with great results. Palmer Music specialises in contemporary styles bringing a 'music is fun' philosophy into every lesson.

Palmer Music's mission is to make sure our students get the professional and artistic attention they deserve in order to reach their musical goals. Our curriculum is flexible with everyone’s unique learning style whilst providing a clear structure making progress easier to track. We strive to guide you on your journey whether you want to shred on the electric guitar or be the best damn cowbell player the world has ever seen.
